ANIRUDH

 

My name is Anirudh Srivathsan. I'm 18 and a student at Raffles Institution. I've been an integral part of the school's hockey team and Indian Cultural Society. Since young, I have had a passion for drama and acting. Till now I have acted in about 5-6 dramas and every time it's been a brand new experience for me. Although I act and take part in productions for leisure, it has been a very important part of my life. 'The Dark Voices' has presented me with a opportunity to play as a antagonist and since it was a new experience, I could not say no.

Everyone, at some point in their life, would have had a personal encounter with bullying- whether it was being in the shoes of the bully, the victim or simply a bystander. Since a young tender age, we've been indoctrinated to believe that bullying is a sin and that we should not have any part in it. Even so, sadly, it still happens.

 

Through this book, I hope more people will be aware of the harms of bullying. And hopefully, it will have a positive impact on those who currently condone bullying or are a part of it.
